ABOUT ME

Katy Green is a former teacher and a mother of three. Katy's daughter, Charlotte, was born with several medical complexities and has journeyed though numerous pediatric surgeries and medical procedures. The experience inspired Katy to write My Scars, My Brave Adventure.  As a mother and former educator Katy knows the power that books can have to inspire children, teach important lessons, and bring awareness to difficult topics. Katy lives in Chicago where she loves to run along Lake Michigan, indulge in the city's many culinary treats, and spend time at the parks and museums with her family.
